Future Warrior Basketball Camp for boys and girls in grades 2-8 will be held at Chilhowie High School on June 10th-12th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm each day. The cost is $55.00 and will include a camp t-shirt. Register online using the link on the attached flyer.

Please help our school by placing your McDonald's order in the app on Tuesday, May 8 from 5am to 11pm. A percentage of the digital sales will benefit Chilhowie Elementary School.

Smyth County Schools will dismiss 2 hours early on Wednesday, March 27 for Spring Break. Schools will be closed from Thursday, March 28 through Monday, April 1. Students return to school on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

CES Title I Family Night will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 6-8pm. The theme for this event is "Leap into Learning." Students and families can participate in winter-themed activities and enjoy a special snack.

On January 25, 2024, Smyth County Public Schools held their county spelling bee at the Lincoln Theatre in Marion, Virginia. Students who won the spelling bee at their respective schools went on to participate in the county spelling bee.
