Earning money for your school is easy!
The Food City School Bucks Challenge program begins September 6th, 2023, and runs through May 7th, 2024.
Parents can link their Food City ValuCard to the registered school of their choice. Points will begin tracking on September 6th when the program begins.

In conjunction with the Book Fair, Grandparents or other VIPs are encouraged to have lunch with their students, and then visit the book fair to do some shopping! A schedule for each grade level VIP Lunch and more information on the book fair can be seen by clicking the heading of this news article.

CES Library Media Specialist Mrs. Melanie Smith was named Regional Teacher of the Year at an assembly at the school on Monday, April 17.

End-of-year assessments for all grade levels will begin after spring break. Please be sure your student gets a good night's sleep, has a healthy breakfast, and arrives at school on time each day. This will help minimize any anxiety that students may feel about taking the test and prepare them to do their best!

Jacob Catron, a 5th grader at Chilhowie Elementary School has won the District, State, and Eastern Regional competitions for his essay in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) essay contest. Congratulations!! CES students - wear red, white and blue on Wednesday, April 5 to show our support and cheer Jacob on in the National DAR Competition!
